Back when this photos was taken, workers did not know about confined spaces or even the risks involved. Current legislation required employers to tour the worksite, and prepare a list of confined spaces, noting the hazards,and controls needed.
standard and emergency first aid training with cpr and aed
We train your workers in standard and emergency first aid training with CPR and AED. Workers who need emergency first aid, AED, and/or CPR attend the Monday class, if you need standard first aid, you also attend the Tuesday (the second day).
The majority of workers need Standard first aid. However most professionals who work in medical settings will need to update their first aid every year. Some workers who work on sites with standby medics or may only require emergency first aid.

online ground disturbance training
MI Safety is pleased to now be able to offer online ground disturbance training. The course has the elements required by OHS legislation, and has the same elements as the Ground Disturbance 201 for Supervisors course.
H2S training historically has not always been well conducted. Oilfield workers often lacked training. There would be years, where more than a dozen workers would die in Alberta. The innovative workers of the patch have taken the initiative to fix the problem due to public perception.

Part of a complete fall protection plan is having an effective system to rescue a worker one they fall and are suspended. A worker left suspended may quickly succumb to “suspension trauma”, a deadly form of hypovolemic shock.
